Why work with horses?
You're like the majority of people who own the horse related activities?
If you're like most people, you want to work with horses or have a business with them, because of the enjoyment that you will take the time spent with the horses. You prefer to spend time with your horse or of other equine related tasks rather than go to work or spend time in a different company.
This is the difference when you have a horse racing career or equestrian business. The joy of waking up in the morning knowing that you spend the day in an environment you enjoy, no doubt an environment where you are even though you were not receiving a monetary reward.
If you are working in the horse industry, you can make money with horses and you can also enjoy your time at work!
The career of horse are right people or a horse is because they are passionate about horses!
Other advantages of the careers or businesses horse equine
If you already own a horse or that you have a career with horses, then there are chances that you have not started your equine business without taking into account other benefits that will bring your equine career.
While you must allow for a profit, you probably started your business or started your career in the horse industry, because you have a passion for horses and you want to be in a situation where this passion is satisfied.
It is often possible (but check first with your accountant) to implement your business so that the benefits support your ambition of equestrian competition or horse long term reproductive strategy. The first company must be profitable and part of this extra money goes to pay for horses and competition from other related expenses or the reproduction of stocks and related costs. This will show that the company as a whole is not as profitable, but as I said before... that the benefit may be in another format!
Equine business without contact with horse
Your equine business may not directly in contact with horses (such as to pay a saddle or horse, food store), but there is a satisfaction to meet people who have horses and to help them with their equine needs.
While you continue your career in the horse industry, you can develop your equine knowledge in a field of equine specialization. (It would be sellier, horse feed or another product necessary for horses). If you earn also a passion for teaching people about your specialization, people will come to you for advice and your equine clientele continue to grow through the mouth. We horse people are a group of enthusiasts, when we meet to talk about horses and horse related topics!
What happens if you do not have a passion for horses?
Many other companies is started because people see an opportunity in the market to make money. No matter if it's services, goods, or both, if there is an opportunity there so a person enterprise will fill the void and create a company.
There is a small minority of people who start their horse business without basic knowledge of horses. They can see an opportunity business or be guided in the sense of a career working with horses, there is work available. They could also be "pushed" in this direction by a well meaning horse loving parent or partner.
Some equine business owners will develop a true appreciation for horses and the people who work with horses. Others will leave the industry of horses simply not understanding why there are people in this world (especially those whose career of the horse) who are simply passionate about horses!
